Morten and I are both born-and-bred Bornholmers. We are an energetic and practical family who thrive on working together and creating a welcoming home around us.
As experienced campers ourselves, it did not take us long to decide when the campsite came up for sale.
Morten, who is 53 years old, is a passionate craftsman who loves building and fixing everything himself. You will rarely find him sitting on the sofa, as he is constantly working on new building and renovation projects. Here at the campsite, he spends his time improving the facilities and creating new projects for the enjoyment of our guests.
My name is Gitte, I am 49 years old, and I am the one you will meet at the reception.
While my role is somewhat different from Morten’s, I mainly take care of the administrative side and help keep our family life balanced alongside running the campsite. Morten and I have three wonderful children: Daniel, who is 24 years old, Nanna, who is 22, and Emma, who is 20. Our children are naturally involved in life at the campsite, and their presence reflects the close and active family environment that comes with running a campsite together.
We moved to Møllers Dueodde Camping on February 1st, 2017, as the third generation of owners. Since then, we have dedicated all our time to improving the site and creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We are passionate about making sure our guests enjoy a wonderful, personal, and memorable holiday experience.
